In the Garden is an exhibition of new works from 6 artists which started from a discussion about the home and the cinematic narratives associated with such environs. Movements outwards from these physical spaces into a larger psychical space of the city as a constructed garden spontaneously occured soon after. The subject matter of this exhibition thus became a contemplative site for these six artists from a variety of disciplines to mediate on questions on belonging, home, placeless, as well as nature and artifice in this fast-changing pace of the world we live in.
Theartists involved include Kray Chen, Hilmi Johandi, Gladys Ng, Homa Shojaie, Kirsten Tan and Ian Woo. Curation by Adeline Kueh and Yuni Hadi
